Running for Karen – Race for Research 2026
In Loving Memory of My Wife, Karen, Who Lost Her Brave Fight with Glioblastoma in 2007

It’s time again for the Race for Research, benefitting the Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation (SBTF). This year’s race will be held at Atlantic Station in Atlanta, GA, and includes a 5K run/walk, a 1K fun-run/walk, and—most importantly—a shared commitment to raising funds for brain tumor research.

I run in honor of Karen—my late wife, the mother of my three children and my life's partner for 28 years—whose courage and strength still inspire me every day. She faced Glioblastoma with grace, humor, and unshakable love. This race is my way of honoring her memory while helping to bring hope to others facing similar battles.
